KWVR 1940’s Weekend 2026

The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway’s 1940’s Weekend is, as it says on the tin, is a weekend dedicated to ‘cosplaying’ the railway in the 1940’s, complete with just about anything you can think of from the time period, with appropriate decorations around each station, mini events along the line and on the trains, and of course, many dressed-up individuals (including the passengers too), with this year having the accompaniment of two flyovers from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, featuring their Dakota and one of two Hurricanes on the Saturday and Sunday respectively, though sadly the Dakota was grounded because of poor weather.

If you get the chance to visit during this event, I do recommend it.
